As Recorded by the great Mel McDaniels. The words to that good old Country song have been slightly revised in this little page to fit Mr Bluejeans himself...  our favorite Wrangler man, Mr. Strait.  

For years every time I've heard this song I sing along but with slight lyric changes.  After seeing him in person the first time I knew I'd never seen anyone who looked better in a pair of Wranglers,  and he still gets that award.  I put this together for the fun of it for all of us Straitladies.  

I updated with a purchased MP3 file of the song, thank you Mel,  and new photos, July 4, 2009. I hope you enjoy it. 

George has so often commented when asked:  "They fit me perfect, damn good."   Indeed they do.

This little project was done spontaneously and all in fun and for everyone who appreciates the Wrangler fineness of  Mr. Strait.  

Thanks to all of the great Strait Fans who took the pictures, and a major thanks to Mr. Strait... the Man who wears it all so well and always with that great Strait smile.

P.S.  A note to Wrangler... thanks for dressing our Man George... but you have no idea what kind of reaction and sales you  could  be getting... too bad you don't take advantage of this Wrangler Man and use his picture everywhere under the sun.  We'd like that.  Yeah we would.
